At 53, Lin Gun Sung was already leading an active lifestyle through regular group fitness classes, but he wanted more than just a good workout. His goal was to build strength, maintain lean muscle, and reduce body fat with a structured training plan that delivered measurable progress. He was looking for expert guidance that would help him train with purpose rather than simply exercise.

One of the biggest challenges wasn’t in the gym, but in the kitchen. Like many Singaporeans, Lin Gun enjoyed meals centred around rice, noodles, and flavourful local dishes. Instead of asking him to give up the foods he loved, our coaches focused on simple, sustainable nutrition habits. By gradually increasing his protein intake and making small adjustments to his meals, he was able to support his training without completely changing his lifestyle.
After five months of consistent coaching, Lin Gun achieved a true body recomposition. He reduced his weight from 65kg to 60.7kg, lowered his body fat from 20.7% to 16.3%, and trimmed his waist from 76.7cm to 72.3cm while maintaining his lean muscle mass. Today, he encourages anyone who feels stuck despite exercising regularly to consider personal training, believing that the combination of structured coaching and practical nutrition guidance was the key to achieving results he hadn’t seen in decades.

“I used to think I just needed to train harder, but what made the biggest difference was having a structured plan and understanding nutrition. I didn’t have to give up the food I love. With the right guidance and small daily changes, I achieved results I hadn’t seen in decades.”
